This picture looks exactly like my mother way back in the old days. It is pretty spooky. She has expressly forbade me from posting her picture on this site but she cannot say anything if I post my own. But she does anyway. Anybody who knows her would assume it is a picture of her and not me.

If I was your mother, I would send you to your room and probably ground you for a month. Of Saturdays.
For a woman who is a few years- well no more than a couple of decades older than you- "way back in the old days" is a descriptor that is a bit over the edge "n'est pas?"
I describe my childhood as the old days and my grandmother regularly calls herself an old lady so my mother's school years qualify.
Pointing out my mother's advancing years is a great source of amusement to her daughters. One I'm sure we'll all find unamusing when we're old.

My senior picture is much funnier. What we thought looked cool when we were young is just embarassing now.
