Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea

The other day I crashed 6 helicopters into a corvette, killing a total of 21 passengers, 8 flight crew, 2 ground crew and sometimes myself. Not to mention destroying $20 million in equipment. Fortunately, this was all done in a simulator.

This is how it looks live. As you can see there is very little margin for error.

Omigosh...! You have the most interesting life of anyone I know. Just try not to kill anyone.

I'm sure you will master it before long, though I am very glad for you and any potential passengers that someone was smart enough to come up with simulators.

Hmm ... you didn't really wanna do that, didya?

Scary stuff. I'd love to have a try. I recall going for a 'flip' with my wing commander boss when I was stationed at RAF Bruggen in W. Germany (1955). He was one of the REAL WWII top fighter pilots and needed to keep his flying hours up in order to retain his extra flying pay.

He threw the little twin-seater trainer through all sorts of loops and dives over the German skies. Wunderbar days!

Jo, I hope that's not true.

Alissa, I think the flight simulator is one of the greatest inventions in aviation.

Philip, I'd love to do barrel rolls but we have that whole rotor problem.

This confuses me. A corvette is a car type? Are you trying to land between cars on the move?

quote: "Pilots and seamen don’t mix."

Say it is not so. There is one pilot I would like to have mixed.

A corvette is a type of boat. The car was named after the ship.
