India, a Passage

But as anybody who has ever gone anywhere on business trips can tell you, it is the worst way to see a country. India is huge. I was never going to experience much of it in such a limited time. But spending most of that time at military bases is even worse. Add to that the fact that women in India’s military are few and far between. While Israel has been conscripting women since 1948 India’s military is entirely voluntary. And few women seem to want to volunteer. They are most likely not very welcome either.

This portrays India as violent country, it is not violent at all, you and your commrades were only in the wrong place at the wrong time. India is the land of peace.

Rather than address every comment individually I'll simply point out that some people may have misunderstood.

But when dealing with people who have combat or martial arts training size doesn't really matter. If 2 people who have no training are fighting, size can make all the difference in the world. And US marines are trained to hurt you if you pick a fight.

I don't know if the last comment is spam or a simple language issue but I think I like it anyway.

It's always more enjoyable when you start. Not so much at the end.
