I was going to comment on Garry’s comment, but then I ended up writing a book about it, so I might as well make it a post.

Oh don't say those same idle lies Ive heard them before This fool who left his heart on an early train won't buy no more
people get intoxicated sometimes with anger. in the past several days i have been having an interesting debate on g plus about a photo from an israeli paper where some jewish people are beating a palestinian woman.
i have tried something new in the discussion, i.e. a moderate perspective with gentle words. i have variously noted that many people are considered c..ts etc.
i imagine that fury must be behind these words.
it is not only the press, but the social network that mirrors many stereotypes, both of arabs and israelis, muslims, christians and jews..
since reading your piece on jews and jewish people etc. i have begun using the word jew and receiving my fair share of lecturing. i lack your careful style so i inevitably get into fights eveh though i say a wise jewish lady taught this to me.
at any rate, i tend to agree with you to a limited extent. i think that the arab countries are in for a bit of a shakeup. unfortunately, it seems that the religious folks are taking over.
it happened to us you know. the biggest sexual abusers of indians in these religious residential schools were the christian caretakers.
Jew is a noun. Jewish is an adjective. The only reason to be offended by the word Jew is if you hate Jews or you're overly sensitive to all the people who want us wiped off the face of the Earth. Some Americans don't like "Jew" because it's been used by Americans as a bad word, just like "Mexican". But a person from Mexico is a Mexican just as a Jewish person is a Jew.
