Katrina devastated Mississippi and nobody talks about it. CNN lacks of focus... ;)
I think because New Orleans was more a case of bad government than the actual hurricane.
I am always disturbed by the fact that the networks seem far more interested in beating out the competition than in the effects of a disaster on ordinary people.
It's great that you volunteered to help in Haiti. I've been wishing that I were free to go, and that I had the medical skills so needed there.
I feel for the people of Haiti, but I want to hear more about your pornographer friend.
I'm no doctor but I'm a good choice to go to these places in time of need because I don't have any children or pets, I'll never lose my job for doing anything even remotely humanitarian, I can pack my bags and be on a plane around the world at a moment's notice. Many people are more qualified but most of them have too much tying them down.
