Very nice pix.
It's very telling how open you are to other religions and cultures. When people travel they see all the tourist traps and shopping, but it sounds like you get to the heart of the culture. You're not afraid of other religions and languages. I bet you never eat at McDonalds on vacation.
Tour groups make the cost lower and you can see many nice things.
But with tour groups you have to follow their itinerary. I'd rather experience the culture than go to all the same places as everybody else, like Alex said above.
I never eat at McDonalds in any country. I like food.
