Some people in Israel’s government are upset by all this. The majority party is taking it personally even though Livni is leader of the opposition. We will bicker no end during an election but stand united when the pommies start a row.

"Have any British arrest warrants been issued for Tony Blair....?"
It may yet happen.
I was looking forward to your take on this.
I don't think anyone could reasonably argue against Israel's right to defend itself. It ain't what you do but the way that you do it.
I had no idea that a country could just randomly start issuing arrest warrants like this. It's very interesting.
"So invading and occupying a country on another continent that never attacked you is ok but bombing an area occupied by a terrorist organisation that fires thousands of rockets at your schools and hospitals is a war crime as far as British courts are concerned."
Israel has a right to defend itself. What a crazy world we live in!
The whole thing is totally insane to me.
Blair could still get called but I doubt it will happen. Even if he does he was still made a peace envoy to a region he helped destabalise.
Any court can issue arrest warrents on anybody. But it's useless if that person's never in that jurisdiction or lives somewhere without any extradition.
Several countries deny Israel's right to defend itself. Some of them deny Israel's very right to exist.
Lock um all up and throw out the key.
